MOMENTUM TEAM

Momentum Martial Arts is focused on self-defense, combat sports and functional training in a Family Friendly environment. The instructors are trained in, and teach Mixed Martial Arts at the highest level while giving students the skills, training, and mindset needed to defend themselves in a potentially harmful or life-threatening situation. Regular classes are offered in a variety of time slots for MMA, Muay Thai, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Functional Fitness.

WHY MOMENTUM MARTIAL ARTS

We chose the name Momentum to symbolize the process of Kaizen or “continuous improvement” as well as to illustrate how the momentum of positive choices and habits help to forge stronger mental fortitude, healthier minds, bodies, and helps us along the path to being better individuals in all aspects of life. Martial Arts is a vehicle for self-improvement, and we take our philosophy beyond just the mat, and extend the values of martial arts into our daily lives.

Our experienced instructors are ready to help you start your Martial Arts journey. Whether you want to lose weight, gain confidence, learn self-defense or compete in a new sport. GRAICE JIU JITSU

Here at Momentum we teach Gracie Jiu Jitsu to all levels. Our foundations classes give new students the opportunity to develop an understanding of the fundamentals & learn basic techniques that work in both the competitive environment but more importantly for self defense. Jiu Jitsu is a discipline where with more knowledge & practice the smaller individual can have a distinct advantage against someone much larger & stronger. Professor Darien Cobon is a Black belt under Chris Haueter & Chris “BONES” Burns. He is also a private student of Master Rickson Gracie.
